These dried seeds are harvested from the Chironji trees which are comon in the forests of Central India. These are highy nutritious. These nuts are popularly used in the Indian sweets and desserts such as Kheer and Halwa. They can also be consumed raw, or ground powder often used in savory sauces and flavourful batters and also stewed in meaty kormas.
